It’s getting hot boys and girls

we hit 107 today and all i have is a little window a-c unit in my bedroom, last night when i went to bed it was 94 inside my house. a-c and a fan was on all night long. had to go to oakland this morning for some medical tests and it was low 80s there.yep, summer is here.

106 today. I could only get the place cooled down to 70 this AM.
I can usually only get it down to 10 degrees above the temp at 7 AM when I close everything up for the day.
76 when I got home this PM.

Yep! Today was 104 amd felt noticeably better than the 112 we just had two days in a row. Lol

Tell me about it! About 2 weeks ago I bought new belts for Otis just had not put them on, well yesterday coming home my A/C belt started squealing at the traffic light a half a mile from home so I shut it off and came on home.

Today I had a meeting in Oakdale and forgot about the belt until it was almost time to leave, so I thought just tighten it real quick and swap all three out tomorrow. It had other ideas....

Well at just about the same traffic light I heard it snap and unravel with a thud, so I pulled over and luckily it shot over into the drivers side fender well without derailing the other two, Needless to say that was one hot ride there and back.

Guess what I'm doing in the AM before it gets hot??

Oakdale on hwy 120 approx. 11:30am

parked head in, on the east side, at something or another and sons, looked like a feed store or farm supply of some kind

I was driving the motorhome with Mrs. Bee's wagon in tow so photo op came and went before I could do anything

I actually spotted a bear along one of the Yosemite park roads last night, Mrs. Bee said unh uh, and I said uh huh and spun the car around so the fam could see it

bad pic but not a bad spot for the old man while driving a twisty two lane goat trail

Yep that was me Molly Dawg and the Wifey....went to Tractor Supply for Chicken Feed and then to Sons Fruit Stand where you spotted us for Melons, Nectarines and Brentwood Corn, Brentwood is the area is its grown in and taste/flavor/sweetness is over the top!
