Dam now I am one more step behind again ! Looks good man ! you gots to post some more pictures ! If you would take two for me please. I want to see where you mounted the 454, in what holes. I picked up a beater 4x4 last night and I need me an engine for it, so I was thinking of taking the 350 from my project and building a 454 for it So Bram if you would not mind. Just where the engine cradle is mounted to the frame please ! :p Other than that it looks good ! Keep the pictures coming

Thumbs up

Thanks fellas.
landon I'll do my best to get you some pictures as soon as I can.
I still have a lot of work to do on it, I need to get the overdrive mounted next so I can measure for a new drive shaft.

Great progress on the truck. Do you have any more pictures? Before, during and after? How is the body? Looks like you are doing all the right stuff. Your frame looks GREAT! I had a 72 3/4 4x4 Ochre/White that I sold and Im still kicking myself for letting it go. (Im looking for a replacement to make myself feel better)
Would love to see lots of pictures of yours. Mine wasnt a 1 ton., just a K20 Cheyenne. These trucks are bullet proof!

This truck isn’t a true 1 ton either. I'm building it pretty heavy duty with a Dana 60 front end, 14 bolt rear end, 454 BB, TB400, and a Gear Vendors overdrive. So basically it's mutated into a 1 ton in my book.
