I started stripping parts off my new cab. Going to get it blasted next weekend.
Most of my work was on my car. Did some powder coating on the brakes which turned out nice!

Modified all door parts for one-piece window kit from Brother's (this looks like a great kit and the instructions are very straight forward). Welded up holes in doors that are not needed for one-piece window kit. Bead blasted and epoxy primed several under hood parts. Removed dents from bed wheel tubs and epoxy primed them. Installed two dead bolts and replaced a toilet at Mother-in-law's house.

Didn't have to work at all this weekend, woohoo.
I labeled my wiring harness for my fuel injection. Removed accesories off the front of my engine, except for the water pump. Took off the intake manifold and cleaned the gasket surfaces. Installed new 72 BB brackets and motor mounts. Had to grind a little of the lip off the top of the cylinder heads so the new intake would sit flush. Set the intake on the engine and started running braided fuel line. Keep up the good work everyone!!!

Played with my rear axle, and removed the driver's side front shock after it came loose and egged out a hole in my frame about 1-1/2" long. Sure bounces after i hit a bump now

Finally got around to taking the original hubcap wheels off and installed the 6-lug ralleys. Even the side mounted spare got the ralley treatment. ......Gotta' be consistant.

Got my frame back from sandblasting/powdercoating on sat... damn, she's pretty! put up on jackstands with rubber cushioning so it won't get scratched, will probably be there awhile... you know, budget constraints...
Step one complete, now as Jesse James would say, all that's left to do is everything...

shift rod....
On Sunday I finally fixed my column shifter gear indicator. After the motor/tranny swap, my gear indicator was showing "R" when the tranny was actually in neutral. I couldn't put it into park because the linkage was wrong. I tried adjusting it but no luck. I finally came up with and implemented a plan. I ground the upper part of the shifter linkage rod down, extending the smaller diameter lower down the rod. Then, after a few attempts and tweaks it was perfect. I am now proud to have for 1. A truck that I can now put in park again (no troubles at all before the swap), and 2. A truck that shows accurately what gear it's in. Now other people who are unaware of its previos condition can drive it without trouble or confusion!

Pulled the engine bay wiring harness (the non-engine side), figured out which wires were which and started hacking. Almost done wiring a pair of solid-state 40A relays for the Hi & Lo beams. Also pulled out the regulator and assorted wires (upgrading to 100 amp 1-wire) Pics shortly.
