Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
have u rebuilt your carb yet? my 350 had a sticky float, and would drip fuel into the intake, and when the truck was hot enough the fuel would burn, after i shut it off. try putting marvel mystery oil in, ive had good luck with it, or run some injector/carb cleaner in gas, might clean out any carbon creating heat spots.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
got to do some work.
oh and the reason the truck was desiling, my idle was set to high. turned her down and shes running good now. was driving it around till i found out that you need insurance in wisconsin now. its the law, so i haven't cruised around lately. truck goes down the road really pretty straight even with the cut springs, and no alignment done to it. 3 on the tree is a pain in the ass sometimes when she locks up,, thinking about getting a stick on the floor. ive really been thinking about getting a 73 and up front end and swapping them out, and then getting drop spindles but idk how much work that would requie. or just going with drop spindles, on this set up the fronts up a little high for my taste. but i dont have disk brakes and dont really have the money for a kit right now. still got to finish up the bed and weld some metal in and screw it alll down but ive been kinda lazy lately since i cant really drive it or anything. But summer is here and i should be enjoying the weather anyways.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
get some conversion drop spindles and then get a 71 and up frontend and use those parts..you'll need a diff. mc prop valve best swap ever i will help you thru if if you need it! duhh you need insurance to drive lol

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
well you it wasn't against the law in the state of Wisconsin till like the beginning of this month.
yeah i was thinking about doing that. I'm more in it cause of the drop not so much the disc brakes. but it would be a plus. idk if i can find a 71 and up front end in my area.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
I think you could use 73 and up rotors calipers etc...
Are you wantin to rebuild your front suspension (tierod ends bjs' etc)... If no Just get conversion drop spindles (will bolt right up) then get bearings seals and a rotors/calipers pads, then a mc and prop. valve id try to find some of this stuff used..good luck! I just had a whole frontend from a 77 you coulda had free if you were closer shipping is nuts on that heavy stuff check out early classic enterprizes ive seen the drop spindles in there catalogs.
