Yes, I drive the piss out of the car, I've put over 20K miles on it in 5 years (a lot for something that is just a toy). What happened was I was thrashing to get the car done for another Hot Rod Power Tour and just never had time to upload pics. I took a ton of them. Car had zero problems this time over the week of 3500+ miles, except it was 110* everyday and I couldn't use the A/C. I actually bought a 69 24" radiator for it, but it will require cutting, so I haven't jumped into it yet. When I finish cutting my longbed down I'm going to fix the car so I can use the freaking air in the middle of summer finally. I only had like 50 miles on the brand new rear end before I left for Louisiana like 1000 miles away...

I'm also finishing up a 7 year renovation on my house. I finished the master bath a few months ago (last room inside of house) and just have to reside it this spring/summer and I'm free from it for a few years.

Thanks for the continued interest guys, I'll look for the rear rebuild pics.

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang

Here's some pics from the power tour.

1. Car cleaned up the night before.

2. Took a quick detour on the way to Louisiana because my car had never been in FL.

3. Randomly met Rudledge Wood at a gas staion. His crew was running twin first Gen Camaros.

4. On a fairy somewhere in Louisiana.

5. Hard to see but that was the "welcome to TX" sign.

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang

1. Pic of Rut's camaros mentioned above.

2. Got to meet all of the American Top Gear guys. We got to watch the new episode for that night inside the Texas Motor Speedway on their Giant Screen.

3. My wife couldn't make the tour this year, so she did some pinup pics with my car and told me to get the Top Gear Guys to sign them.

4. Texas has 80mph speed limits. My speedometer is accurate and I was being passed...

5. Gas Monkey! My only regret is I didn't make it before they closed.

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang

Beautiful car. I'm so interested in your build because I'm in the very early stages of redoing my 63.5 Falcon, so I'm working on kinda the same format, only narrower...which makes for some serious pains ITA. But I'm also not going to be nearly as stock looking under the hood

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang

I was going to update my build thread, but I think my pics are on my old computer (kept it, but have to hook it back up) so I haven't done that.

What I have done is upgraded the tiny 17" radiator to a massive 24" for a 1969 Mustang. I'll upload pics and detail that install soon, but for now I made a couple of videos.

Damn i didnt think he was that big. I can only imagine how hard it is for him in the weird vehicles he likes, im 6ft and it can interesting depending on the vehicle. He is building a 67 mustang right now with Finnegan from Roadkill and casey from Gas MOnkey on ebay motors blog. So makes me wonder if they will drop the seat area down.

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang

Oh yeah, he loves golf carts and tiny golf cart sized cars, which is hilarious. He did a show for one season called "lost in transmission" that wasn't too bad, and he showed some of his odd collection. He drove a white 68-70 Challenger on the power tour this year.

Yeah, I actually really liked that show. I was hoping for a season 2
