Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
he shouldve used gold naaah brass maibe
one way to prevent the wood from getting darker or at least slow it down a lot is to keep a cover on the bed and only remove it at shows

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Bare wood will discolor in the sun. Some actually lightens, some will get darker. If you are going to stain it, I wouldn't expect a big change. I suspect the "UV" protection is in reference to the finish, like its not supposed to turn milky or crack and get crappy looking. How long has this stuff been around? I've seen high-dollah exterior finishes that are supposed to be all this and that, but just don't hold up to the claim. Spar has been around since dirt. I wouldn't expect that you are going to abuse this thing anyway. Its not like you're going to park it outside, exposed to the elements for the season.
Now git busy! We wanna see this thing running!

Your engine looks sweet, and I'd have to say go to SEMA too. That's a good sponsorship.

Your raffles were pretty popular. Just do a couple more for your "Dino's or Bust Fund".

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
I was thinking the same thing on the script. We all know it's there, but not sure i would notice it if i didnt. Then again, maybe that's the point?
I always liked the gold and it's looking as sweet as ever! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
The color goes really well with the paint combo, and the gold! Are you planning on doing another test peice with a different color?
