Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
thanks for diggin pu the old thread.
i think im gonna end up hot rodding this thing. so a couple weekends ago i was up north idk if i had to many pbr's in me or what but some how i managed to break the key off in the ingnition i know its not a hard fix haha but im thinking about pulling the 350 out of it and putting it in my truck either this summer or next winter. trucks just been sitting because of the wisconsin winters. cant wait to hit the streets this spring tho.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
I'll take some pictures sometime for you.
No, I left it on the column, thats the whole point. If I put it on the floor, i'll go 5spd(NV3500/4500) I dont think the T5 would hold up or camaro 4spd.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
i kinda like on the column vehicles their different and fun to drive(provided they don't jam), though they don't speed shift well hows that six holding up? though seems like you haven't driven much due to weather
hey i was wondering do you have any more pics of that exhaust you made on your truck? im looking for ideas and remembered that yours was simple and yet really sweet looking thanks!

Thanks rick friend request accepted
Quote:
alirght you dont gotta the c10 up north has a 350 and a 3 on the tree i can look at that hah. column shifts niceee. what about a cheap 4sp saginaw Quote:
yeah not much because of the weather i dont feel like spending 4 bucks at the car wash everyday... i cant wait till spring tho. six is holding up but is starting to blow some smoke... after i rev it up nice. thats kinda why im thinking 350.. haha i think i do have a pic. it was just a muffler after the down pipe then i had a straight piece to a 45 degree cut that i welded. and it came out in front of the tire. simple like you said and here are the 2 motors... what would you do? rebuild this orignal 69 block? or pull this motor that is a strong runner.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
I used to do bmx until i got fat and started driving my truck everywhere! lol And i would personally pull that 69 motor, completely rebuild it, hone it/bore it, new rings, Pistons if you have to bore, new mild cam, all new bearings, get the heads reworked, an aluminum intake, Hei distributor and a set of headers, and you would be set. Plus your k5 would still run.
