Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

There was a time when we thought a long bed c10 was big. Now they look small next to the newer models. I parked my 69 stepside behind our 09 Yukon and it almost looked like a mini truck.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

I want to think of 67-72 c10s to be around the size of a newer Colorado or so. I bet there wont be much difference.

I've considered that as well...sitting next to a colorado truck thinking that wheel base is very close. Overall the body of the colorado is bigger methinks though...

I figured as much. If you could still get a reg cab swb Colorado, I would think that it would be the closer comparison. Neighbor just bought a new crew cab Ford Ranger, and it looks way bigger that I remember Rangers looking.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

That's cool. My 57 Chevy had a bowtie for it's high beam indicator. Details like that on old vehicles are neat.

Yeah, GM did little things in the old days...even on the newer stuff if you look closely ...

The non skid on the black rubber are Corvette racing flags...

I wish new cars were like that. I had a conversation with one of the young bucks at work earlier this year about driving with his high beams on. His response was how do you tell they are on. I pointed out the little blue headlight that was lit up on the dash. He thought that it meant that the headlights were on.
