How about you post up Blu Mule so we can offer our "allowed" opinion? To each their own... We all cant afford to find the perfect "real" patina or a new paint job so many of us just make due with what we can get our hands on and do ourselves given our current skill set. Yes, America and yes, freedom of speech... you are "entitled" to your opinion but, you know the saying about opinions...

I dig the flat black flamed full custom sitting next to your truck too. I saw the thread on that a while back... lots of bodywork - different but, equally cool!

That truck actually has 4 gallons of clear on it. He started cutting the truck after a couple of years of settling but the shop got so busy he hasn't had a chance to finish the cut and buff. It does look unbelievable when you can see the depth on the clear.

Here is my 67 C20 native to Idaho from the farm. Has purchase papers, protecto plate, manual, service records, all original except for the tires and wheels. Actually have the split rims with the tires that the PO gave me. The last picture is where I think the truck will be heading toward in the next year. Lower it a little, rally rims with drop spindles and maybe a little custom scallop paint or pinstripe and then a satin clear over the patina along with a new 350 V8 crate motor.
