Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I am enjoying the truck the way I wanted to during the winter after a three year build....Taking short rides and fixing little stuff. Coming home, and taking a few pics.
When she runs well for these little jaunts, I can't help but take a few pics when I get back. Thanks for helping me indulge my whim, Boys and Girls.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Wouldn't start after short run. Read about vapor lock in which an old gas cap doesn't vent. Bought new gas cap and so far, NO PROBLEMS!!! I love that feeling.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I drove around breaking in a new 454. Just got it installed and running last week. Does anyone have an opinion on break-in? Should I baby it or drive it like I stole it?

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Drive it like your going to drive it, IMO just dont rev it to the limit for awhile. But I just break them in like Iam going to drive it I have never babied any motor..lol
Lots of different opinions on this though. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I've been driving mine. Need to post pics, I guess. Last year this time, it was completing the frame upgrades for the "baggage". Next is the engine/trans upgrade (420hp 383 & t56 or LQ9). TBD.
I ordered new headlight housings with integrated turn signals so I can change my front bumper to an early model. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Got the brakes working too notch ( nice feeling that it doesn't jerk to the right when I hit the brakes) and also installed new fuel sending unit... Now I can stop easily and know how much gas I have !!!!
