Re: What did you do with your truck today, take 2
Yes sir, I agree. About all I have is a pile of parts and some stacked up boxes. As soon as I can I'll take some pictures and start a build thread. This is about all I have so far and it's pretty sad looking.

Stero and speaker install. Sounds great, volume is just right, wife screamed at me to turn it down half way across the yard. Remote control works from driver seat position.

After 7 months of welding cab and door panels at the shop, brought her back to the house to finish cleaning up the bottom, seal all the exterior seams and apply a hefty dose of Hippo liner. Looks nice, huh? Her bottom - not the clown in the cab (me)!

Pulled vacuum on the ac system, holding good so no leaks. Installed filter in booster vacuum line. Also looked at some hickory for bed wood.

Did a test fit of the tubular control arms for 70-81 camaro from Performance online. Also fit the QA-1 coil-overs and C-5/6 spindles with 13 in. rotors. Had to message the lower control arm mounts on subframe so the tubular ones would fit. Also had the drill out shock mounting holes on lowers so QA-1's would fit.

Re: What did you do with your truck today, take 2
Today as I walked by the burned out hulk of my truck and I heard it call me a dirty name.
The front clip I need is up in the San Fernando Valley for a good price. I just hoping it will still be there next time I drive up to the LA area to see my family. |

Re: What did you do with your truck today, take 2
Took the not-quite-complete truck to a local show to show it off. Turned out well, that's first place in the "under construction" class. Another week and it would have been under it's own power.
