Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Lowering is a disease.. Porterbuilt is the cure.. (I said the same thing.. I'm just going to bag it and be happy, blah, blah, blah. With that being said, I'm about 2-3 weeks from pulling the trigger on a dropmember. Then, come the slosh tubs, and cutting into a rust free tub so the rear notches and axle come through.)

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
My boy raul came thru wiring my gauges while I had to attend an evening function..... I hope that we can get this in the truck real soon so we can move to redoing the rear suspension quickly..

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Well spent part of the afternoon cleaning the front grille and I thought I would post a picture of my gauges finished ready to go in the truck maybe sometime this week.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Hopefully one day we will buy a welder and try to figure out how to do it. Get the creative juices flowing and who knows what we could come up with.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
My best friend Raul calls me and says I am on the way to your house to drop off the camaro and i am taking your truck to my house so we could get a head start on the gauges. I said perfect as I was home just watching the dolphins get their butts handed to them.
We moved cars around and we went to Raul's house I was as usual the helper Raul started on the truck around 7:00p.m. and by 9:30pm he is 90% completed...Things left to be done I have to pick up a new headlight switch as mine came apart and the dash lights would not work, we took the switch of "Abuelo's" Raul's stepside and it worked like a champ. We need to run a wire from the MSD for the tachometer, run a Lokar speedo cable and we are set, at least for the gauges...Also I had my tow company come pick up "Abuelo" to take it to my shop so my guys can pressure clean the complete truck inside and out so we could have a clean start on that project...
