Re: 1968
Well, I almost finshed the cab floor today. I still got a small repair on the kick panel about 6 to 8 inches. I did finsh the step for the bed though it came out real nice. There was a small place where it bolts to the side wall that was a little rusty. I replaced it with new metal. I did not want it to give when I use the step.

Re: 1968
Today I worked on the other side of the step bed walls. Had a few dents on the top rail. Welded and grind and bondo and sand and bondo and sand toget it right. I wanted to get my replacement welded today. The fan went out on the welder. It did not happen. Looking like tomorrow I think.

Re: 1968
So got my new welder today. It rained here the biggest part of the day. So I thought to myself I might as well go to Harbor Frieght. When I got back, I started working on finshing the bed side, that I started the other day. I primed it and now it is ready for fine tuning on the body work. So guys if you are looking for parts I have posted a few in the parts section.

Re: 1968
Today I Did nothing on my truck. I started to run the brakes line, but got side tracted. I boxed up the pos traction rear end to ship to to Ill. After that I just done somemore of my honey do's. I painted the dog house. The problem with that is we don't have a dog. Just a dog house. I figured I might be in it before this project is over with.

That cracked me up! We should all think that far ahead. One of the best looking dog houses I've seen. Posted via Mobile Device
