Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!
ohh and forgot to ask if the shaft piece is the same for manual or power steering? cause there was a whole other steering box thing included when I got truck. Just never looked at it to see if it would work. This may answer why he included it...lol
thanks, Betty |

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!
Betty, I don't think you can repair the end piece on the one you have. This shaft was used on some 68 and all 69-72 trucks. The early columns were one piece and they went to this style.
On the fan the only 7 blade fanwith clutch I have is 19 1/2 wide, not original for our years Thanks Randy

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!
Well as for the fan...I have a new fan clutch...so I really don't need one...would need bolts to mount it to the fan. How wide should the fan be for our trucks? And as for the steering piece I'll dig out the other steering box that I got with the truck and take pics tomorrow and post them and see what ya think...
thanks, Betty |

Betty, the size of the fan won't matter if you don't use a shroud, another $15 for the fan without clutch. Thanks Randy

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!
Hi Randy-
Perhaps you can help me with a speedo issue?? The speedo on my '67 has never worked. Bought a new cable and installed it yesterday. Still nothing. Do I need to replace the entire mechanism or might it be something else? Having a speedometer/ odometer that works would be cool because I don't have a working gas gauge either!! Any advice??
