Yeah, that was the one. Working now. It wouldn't open the link on Friday afternoon. It just kept timing out.

if it had been a genuine late year 71 super longhorn it would be mine

the only element that had me clinging for 71 was the black on the headlight surround..

I can't see if it has recessed door screws under the wing window or how the rear view is attached..

plastic molded door panels and super had me thinking it was 72 and seller confirmed..

needs a lot of work but sure is a somewhat rare bird, definitely a nice truck in it's day..

unfortunately since it's not a lowered shortbed, it will probably die in obscurity

This might not be too bad a deal for someone looking for a project.

I missed a set of 15x8 six lug rallys with beauty rings for $175 by one day up near St. Louis. I was travelling up on Monday and they sold on Sunday. My luck.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Kinda rare to find as complete as this. Not my stuff.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/p...967743260.html

Complete PTO winch setup. Was attached to a NP205 tranfer case on a 4x4 1971 GMC K2500 truck but should work for square body trucks as well as any Ford, GMC, Jeep, etc that has the NP205 or other tranfer case that allows PTO attachments. PTO could also mount to the 4-speed SM 420 and SM465 manual gearbox with access plate for PTO. Everything works. 8,000 lb capacity and very heavy duty. Does not place strain on electrical system of truck. Since driven by truck engine, you can winch as long as you have gas in your tank and thus no need to worry about battery drain or dealing with any cooling off periods with electrical winches.

Man, wind resistance has to be noticeable on that rig. It does clean however.
