I'm not sure whatever is a narrow enough subject.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Went and hitched it up to my travel trailer today, with the help of one of my sons. There will be a pic of my truck hauling, soon. Though it will be parked when the pic is taken.

Replaced step bumper with new used standard chrome bumper and new braces. Like the new look.

Installed LEDS for my backup lights. Looking at the license plate light I should get one in there too.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Fixed the throttle linkage. Step on the pedal and it sort of clicked like something was jamming up. Found the culprit and tightened it up.

worked on some paint imperfections that have been bothering me.
tried my hand at the 3M stuff. so far, i am very happy with the results and i've only gotten through the first (white cap) compound.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Tired of getting pine needles and debris in my cab every time I turned on the heater.
Removed the heater core and found a nasty old mouse nest packed into the heater box. Removed the nest, touched up the rusty metal, primed and painted now I am waiting for gaskets to reinstall. Sorry, I do not know how to resize the pictures. Bill

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Plus while waiting for the gaskets, I needed to bypass the heater core. I could not find a 3/4" barb to 5/8" barb fitting.
So, here are a couple of fittings you should keep in your truck in case you need to bypass the heater core due to a leak. Bill Sharkbite makes the exact reducer, but not readily available in local stores.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
The clutch pedal is gone, so a larger brake pedal pad was in order. The gas pedal to match eventually.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Looks great, try not to spend time on the edges as the buffer can burn through the paint. As you buff the flat sections stay off the edges, by the time you get a good shine on the flat the final buff will do the edges. Some guys tape over the sharp edges just in case.
