Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd

Dino,... ever think about putting the C50 on a 73-87 1-ton dually chassis?
Find a nice "cab & chassis" truck with the narrower rearend,... and tuck some 10-lug 22's or 24's.
Also plenty of drop components for these trucks.
I wanna see those running boards on the ground!

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd

love those 67 sbw's..
hey a couple of ideas for you-
1) lower it!!
2) find another set of fenders and running boards to match the rear wheel well to the front...
kinda like this pic-(I know I know it's really rough, but I think it gets the idea across...)

I like that idea of finding another set of fenders and boards and mirroring the fender opening. If not that, then a narrowed set of dually/stepside fenders?

But the rollback idea is pretty cool too.

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd

Buddy, you have enough projects that you should find a used rollback & swap the stuff around to have a C50 rollback. Move your projects where ever & when ever; Dino style!

Instead of stretching the bed, stretch the cab.

Dino, The sub turned out killer!! Your new C-50 project is going to be off the hook just like everything else you do. You just don't run out of ideas do you. The problem around my shop is not havin' enough time to get anything done. My job keeps gettin' in the way. haha

Dino that truck is bad a$$. Can't wait to see what you do with this one. You should put a wrecker bed on it and slam it so you can move all your potential projects around. Keep up the good work.
