I guess he should have spent another year, or took the cowel hood back and kept a stock hood. I had the same problem on my 67, and opted for a stock one because the gap was soooo unacceptable. I do like the stance/wheel/tire combo and the colour though, everything else was really nice.

I taped the show and watched it 3 times ! I think the hood gap is actually optical illusion. The paint reflection is pretty high and each time I got a look at the gap it was a panning shot that flared or seemed to magnify with the reflection. I can't fathom a truck being built for TV and the gaps wouldn't get done right. Especially when it went to the SEMA Show and got looked at HARD. I would commit crimes to own that truck and then "I'd drive it like I stole it".......Same way I drive my '67 now but I can't get 300 ft of rubber with a ZZ4.

Hater... Whatever If I see another set of AR wheels on an older vehicle "the wheels are era specific" gimme a break I could go on about all the things I dont like about the truck. But who cares in the end? All the resources and money available and that is all that there is? Dump a load of HP in any truck and you will get a burnout queen. Actually dropping it more in the back would have helped hookup. I guess some people like the stink bug look. The truck is OK as are all the build ups on that show. I would have done a lot of things different as I am with my truck.
I would be happy to post pics of my truck, at this time it still looks like a beater. My resouces and funds are limited. So I save and do things as I can. I never skimp on quality or what I need or planned for. That is why the project takes time. Have a 4L80E being built this month. My truck will stay in pretty much the same running condition until I have most every piece to take it down and up in two months time. I am about half way there. Hope your project goes the way you want and you are happy with it. Good luck. "Same way I drive my '67 now but I can't get 300 ft of rubber with a ZZ4" So your truck actually hooks up

I've been waiting patiently for that epiosode for about a year or more...Putting up with repeats on top of more repeats, it just kept dragging along. But I wasn't dissappointed in the least! I love it! Wow 300' burnout and open headers with a flick of switch! Thats cool!

Ok, I too have put up with all the damn repeats and waiting for the episode where it was finally finished. I love that truck. Of course I was out of town this wknd and had no idea that was the episode they were airing, so I missed it dammit! Anyone have a copy they want ot send my way? I'd love to put it on my tape I made the other week when Overhaulin did a 2nd Gen Camaro (see my signature).

I'd like to challenge stacy to a drag race with my version of copperhead!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my truck to the body shop today and I might paint it that color! If I do I'll add more to it later but I wonder what he think of me challenging him to a drag race with a little ole 468!

Yes sir I plan on adding nos later but I'll be disappointed if it doesn't make close to 700hp. I had the same motor injected on alcohol in my camaro and it went 5.90 eighth mile and 9.20 in the quarter! The truck will weigh more so it might need a little spray!
