Re: Fast68Chevy????
Isn't it amazing how Randy was such a drama starter when he was here and he's still doing without being here. I bet where ever he is, someone has told him about this and he is getting his jollies right now.

Re: Fast68Chevy????
Oh settle down Andall. I could be worse, you two guys could be related or something.
Personally, I don't miss Randy or Miles (Nucleus), but at least there was a slight chance of some intelligent dialogue while having a discussion with Miles (even though you were never correct ). I spoke with Randy a few months ago, still the same old story. He had a job for a while, sounds like he somehow lost it, now it's "there's no work here, blah blah blah". Too bad he's got such mental problems/substance abuse problems, I feel bad for him in that respect.

Re: Fast68Chevy????
I've been to Randy's house several times. In keeping a fair bit of respect for him and his privacy, I won't mention any specifics about his location or his living conditions for that matter, but he was actually very nice to us when we visited and I got several good parts from him for great prices, including a running, newly rebuilt 350sbc for $200. I guess the key to dealing with Randy is to go to his house with cash in hand. I never tried the mail order deal with him, but have heard from people on here and also people I personally know about some of the web dealings gone sour.

Re: Fast68Chevy????
When I first saw this thread I said to myself, "Aw sh!t. Not Randy again...", and was getting ready to reply, until someone brought up Nucleus. Then I said to myself, "Aw sh!t. Not Miles again...".
The only good thing about those two guys were that they were BOTH predictable. Randy is a habitual liar. Miles is a self-anointed genius - a legend in his own mind. Both of them are egotistical and reactionary. Miles dissapeared the same day American forces entered Bagdad. I haven't heard from him since. Randy and I had some successful transactions in the past. Things were fine until he started bad-mouthing other members, and making himself a damn abnoxious a$$. For whatever reason when he started to get into REAL trouble on this site he would come crying to me. I don't know why. For some reason he thought I had "pull" with Josh, Liz, Andy, and others. I made the HUGE mistake of being the peace-maker, and tried to give him some advice, answered his emails, blah blah blah. Huge waste of time. Now he randomly emails me out of the blue. The dumb thing is he makes suggestions that "I'll be back on the site...", and things like that, and every time I warn Josh and Liz that he might be lurking. Stupid. He's a meth head that doesn't take care of himself. He yanks people around, and does it because he's got nothing better to do. Usually people have ONE good thing they're good at, and at least give themselves satisfaction by doing that ONE thing good for the rest of their life. He hasn't proven that he even knows what that ONE thing is, and one day he's going to piss off the wrong person. Someone's going to find him buried under a junked-out car, or he's going to get capped, or he's going to blow himself up trying to cook meth or something. If not that he's going to kill himself, or ruin his health for good. I don't have sympathy for anyone who decides they're going to destroy themselves AND take others with them. Let him wreck his own future, but he should stay away from others...

Re: Fast68Chevy????
He had issues with everyone. The bottom line is he'd talk bad about people behind their backs - especially if they were an influential member of the board...so yes, he would talk bad about you, Andy, and others too.
He's unpredictable, he lies, and he basically gives everyone a hard time. He's defensive, argumentative, and a general all-around pain in the butt. He got kicked off of this board because people had made deals with him, and those deals went south. He also used his sob stories to get people to give him stuff, only later for those people to find out they'd been lied to. His personal "oh woe-is-me" crap got old, and when people told him to straighten out he'd lash out at them and cause trouble. It doesn't take very long for the right number of people to get fed up. That's what happened and he got booted.
