Re: Let's See Some GMC's
Here's mine from a few weeks ago at the dragstrip.
I'm going to start a frame off restoration on it in the spring, along with rebuilding the engine, and making one heck of a hot small block out of it |

Re: Let's See Some GMC's
Great looking trucks guys! I hope mine gets close to to them when mine gets done. I do have a question though, and I have asked it a few times with no success. I love the look of the 67 style hood. What do I need to get to run a 67 front clip on my 69 GMC? Hope someone can answer this for me.

I have a 70 gmc.I bought a 68 gmc grill and a 68 chevy hood.I'm not 100% sure it was a 68 grill but I know it was'nt a 70's type.I have to fill in the holes where my trim went on the front of my fenders now,but thats not too hard. hope this helps.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's
Here’s my 71 GMC Sierra Grand short bed. I just picked it up a few weeks ago and am looking forward to cleaning it up. It’s mostly all original, except for the obvious lowering, wheels & steering wheel.
DMX Sorry some of my pictures of the interior wouldn’t load because they are too big. And I don’t have time this morning to get them up. Last edited by DMX84; 01-04-2007 at 08:10 AM. |

Here is mine. I have had her since I was 15. She was my first and she isn't going anywhere. A 700r4 is in the near future.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's
Here's my '71 (may it rest in piece). After a 3 year resto and a bunch of $ it was lost in a house/shop fire along with 2 other trucks. It only had 280 miles on it.This is the only pic I have left.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's
There are some beautiful GMCs here!
Nobby, sorry to hear about your truck..it was a real looker. Was that the original color? I have a Jimmy, and I was thinking about painting it the Medium Gold Poly, which was on the color charts in those years. Thanks, Peter Last edited by Shock_Me; 01-04-2007 at 12:07 PM. Reason: spelling |

Re: Let's See Some GMC's
Wow,you guys are too much. I'm embarassed now. I put my '69 GMC to work 6 years ago and it shows, plus the Kamakasee drivers in L.A. have plowed into it 6 times so far.
Ok,if can figure out how to post, here's a picture after being sideswiped by a hit+run, also showing stuff in bed from work. '69GMC 2500 Custom Camper Longhorn Last edited by WorkinLonghorn; 01-04-2007 at 02:49 PM. Reason: add picture |
