Re: How one ebay seller treats and feels about us. be leary.

Buying stuff off of ebay scares the crap outta me for just this reason. Fortunatley I have not been burned, yet......

Does this guy still have a good rating or is it bad and people STILL buy from him???????

No his rating is 97%. Thats hard to maintain. I guess if you dont mind waiting 2 weeks + for your part or that little pit in your stomach that you may never receive it, then he's not a bad part source.

Part of the problem with ebay is the seller won't leave feedback until you do, so you flame them, they flame you.

Re: How one ebay seller treats and feels about us. be leary.

yes youre right and i made the mistake of giving him positive feedback before receiving the item if you can believe that. I just went down my list of feedbacks that i needed to leave without looking at who i was giving it to.

You probably did the right thing for your own sake, he would have flamed you if you left bad feedback.

Re: How one ebay seller treats and feels about us. be leary.

DO NOT! I repeat Do not leave bad feedback and suicide your rep because the guy will flame you. Better to leave no feedback and get even by tracking his business and e-mailing his bidders or him and telling him to make it right or you will track his business. Give him an ultimatum to turn him in to E-bay!!!!

Unfortunately, it is against e-bays rules to leave a link to a website in your feedback. E-bay will delete it and not give you a chance to leave an alternate feedback. This happened to a guy on a mustang forum I visit.

yeah i got bit too . bought a pair of black viser hooks this summer. both were spray painted , one was originaly green .of course took a good week or two to get them yet the cowl seal was ok . then funny thing , i was selling on ebay a pair of motor mount towers from a '72 , then i get asked by a member if i would ship to their customer . before i realized who it was , i said " ok ".he won the bid and i shipped them off to tennessee . i wonder how long they were waiting on him for them

Wow...
if you look up his neutral and negative numbers and add them up...that is not good.
To me a neutral is nothing more than a nice negative. To bad...I still believe that 99% of the people we deal with are good people and it is sad there are a few who don't have good business sense.
