Approx 11'' the front is a combo of cut and lowered spring pockets and cut coils the rear is 68 gmc leaf springs with the rear end flipped. I'm old school I built it all mysrlf in my garage . don't be afraid to experiment . It rides and drives good with no bags!!!!!!!!

Here's some 4 ya - 67 CST SNB 327 th400 A/C PS PB 3.73 posi - Ordered Silver in color from factory. Before I found her, she'd sat for 10 years straight 1/2 of that time was spent outside under a tree.

Yup, she's moved up north now! I made sure to jump on it when I found out Keith was selling her. It's going to work out perfectly if I could just get out in the garage and wrap up a few things... hopefully over the next couple weeks.

so the writing on the firwall is a good thing..how can i clean up under the hood and save the writting...also on the patina, how can you keep it from rusting all the way through one day...i like the looks of it alot,,wish mine had it..but you never know i know where there are few of our trucks at, that have the perfect patina on them...might end up with one one day

I'm guessing you're going to swap that body on to your completed (& air-bagged) chassis for the board meet?

That was the idear.. but I don't think it'll be ready for that long of a trip.

I might get it to GoodGuys in Columbus the following weekend though. A trip to Columbus is about 1/4 as long as the trip to Missouri!

Here is what mine looked like when I bought it. Its wasn't the original color just a really bad re spray so I did it all black primer. Now its fadded black primer does that count lol?

I guess this fits the 'patina' look.....

I posted in the satin black thread about wanting to duplicate this look but w/some fresh color. The truck was totaled so the entire pass side has been replaced w/different parts. While it was under-going improvements, I had the drivers front fender & bedside fixed too.

I was going to go satin black but I can't decide if that's getting too much exposure lately..... so the next best thing is the original bronze in a satin (aged) finish.
