[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] 1st 2 pics are my '72 I used to have, 2nd pic is my '69 that I recently got. The '69 just got the flatblack makeover, next up on the list is a new crate motor for her. 4th pic is the '69 before she got her makeover...

Re: I wanna see a long bed rat rod
It's good to see this thread still going. I havent worked on my GMC for a while due to lack of parts but as soon as i find where to buy a inner cab roof panel to fix my rust along the windshield i'll get started on it again. I found a guy in my town that sells autobody supplies cheap and he said he has a single stage paint that is called Hot Rod black so i'm going to go with that for my paint instead of the rattle can or flat black primer. I figure it will last longer with actual paint on it. Its good to see all of the pics though. Thanks guys.

Re: I wanna see a long bed rat rod
Here's one with the baby moons. Perhaps Photo Shop will put a flat black paint on. It's ok with me.

Re: I wanna see a long bed rat rod
Hey Frenchblue72, thanks for the site with all of those chevy truck replacement panels. I am ordering that inner roof panel, LH floor pan, LH front floor support, LH inner rocker, and LH outer rocker. That will make my truck all nice and solid so i can get some paint on it and hopefully have it on the street by spring of 2008.

Re: I wanna see a long bed rat rod
Does anyone know what size drop, rim size and tire size are on that black 69-70 flat black longbed with the white walls? It's exactly what I'm looking to achieve. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks Guys and Gals.
