52 Short Bus will be rolling soon! any ideas?

Starting price is probably high for a person looking.
You know how much you have into it both sweat and $'s.
Most of us also realize the monatary value as it stands is reasonable.
Might have been better to start low with a reserve and see if there is any bidding interest.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I based the price on all those factors--plus, where do you find another one? If someone is actually looking, nothing will stop them. I thought about a lower price with reserve. Just wanted it to actually be for sale right off the bat. Besides, the new way they charge on ebay, I don't have to pay if it doesn't get a bid.

Bus in the paint shop. YELLOW! decided to go the same color as my 48 GMC Panel since they are both GMC's. And it is a school bus after all. Should be back by Friday Nov 5.

Bus gonna stay in the family! Should have it back sometime next week. I'm going to paint the 'ribs', mirrors, etc, flat black.
It goes in next week to my brothers shop to install the 3 inch dropped spindles and new ball joints.
Had some bus seats lined up at a recycler, but someone crushed them by accident!!
Have new glass to install.
Can't wait myself!!

TADA!!! Dropped spindles done, rewired back taillights and prepared for hitch. Still need to rewire the cab--there is no fusebox. Got some chroming to do. Trying to come up with some script for the side!?! S'cool Bus has been used too many times.
Interior: thinkin about putting roofing membrane down on the floor to seal it, then plywood, then maybe some t&g bamboo. For now I'm looking for some bus seats for it. It would be fun to go to a cruise night and pick up people that don't own a cruiser that are standing watching, and take them for a ride around the block.

YEA BABY! i want a ride bring it to portland next year! i found one a few months back but i have plenty of projects. thanks for not using that logo been done to death. i'm trying to find the pictures of on that when they built it built a fiberglass ass end that swung open so they could load a car inside.

While the front was apart, I picked up some 1-ton non-dually front rotors and found that they bolt on. This brings the track in 3.5 inches. Of course, the 16 inch wheels hit the calipers. When I'm ready to spend 5k, I can bag it and run some 19.5 or 22's!

That bus is very special, just like my mommy says I am lol. I like it. If you want 19.5's look for P30 step van wheels, they are 8 lug. That's what I used on my 65. I paid like 50 a piece on ebay. Look locally for them though. Shipping cost me almost as much as the wheels. I used 225/70 tires, ended up being the same height as the original 18' wheels and tires.

AND THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! We are all looking to learn from others mistakes and from their good ideas. Thanks for the tip 2manyprojects, I think black painted wheels with a stripe may even look better than the 16 inch Alcoa's.

No problem, glad I could help. The black wheels with a stripe would look pretty sweet. I was going to get chrome simulators but I might steal the idea and paint mine white with a blue stripe to match the roof. I think you will find the 19.5 wheels look a lot better on a bigger truck. The 16's end up looking like mini spares to me.
