Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Kevin,
I have an extra automatic column tilt and am in need of a floor shift tilt. Do you do conversions? If so, How much would you charge? Don

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Kevin, I have a truck column shift tilt. It's in decent shape and I already bought the shift lever. Any estimate what you'd charge to rebuild it?

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Does this include any rebuilding? The column I have is good, but may be a little rough around the edges.

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Could you convert an 85 van tilt to a floor shift? How much would it be? Are the lengths right?

I want to do this, but I am unable to spend $300 right now. I will be able to after the 1st of the year. I hope this is ok.

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Kevin, Really impressive work. Looks like you pay attention to the details. I have a tilt from a1977 GMC Sierra and would like to put it in my 1968 K20 4x4. It is column shift and I have a 4-speed on the floor. Can this be converted? If so, how much? Thanks for your time.

Kevin,
I received mine yesterday. It's absolutely perfect!!! Nice and tight, great factory finish, packaged very well! If any of you guys are on the fence about whether or not to get yours from Kevin, DO IT! He's great to deal with and keeps in contact every step of the way. Jim

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Thinking about getting a new tilt column/floor shift. Your feedback sounds good!! Plus I live in Bakersfield so I could drive up to get one. Just wondering if you could fit me in for a column in your busy schedule. If you can how much would it be? Thanks for your time..

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Just wanted to throw my $.02 in, Kevin, I got your column installed when I was home at Xmas, but didn't have time to ship you the old one back. Column is FANTASTIC! Beautiful paint and performance and all the new parts are awesome. Thanks again for a great new part for my Blazer, just wish I could drive it. Next time I get home I'll send you the old van tilt like we talked about. Jeff.

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Hey Kevin, I thought I was the only one you built these columns for (I have bought at least a dozen, no lie, from the master himself). I never knew you were two timing me... by the way did you mention they can be placed in customs as well?? Here's mine .

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Hi Kevin, These colums look solid. The price is $400.00 plus shipping right? Ups ground to Arizona is like $16.00. Does that sound about right? If so sign me up for a tilt, colum shift.

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Today I recieved my re-furbished tilt column from Kevin. This thing is a work of art!
The hunk of crap column I sent him really turned out nice. So,... if anyone wants a tilt column,... Kevin is the man! This ones going in my beater '69,... and I'm beginning to think it's TOO nice for it. Anyway,... a big thanks to Kevin for the great communication, shipping, and SUPER quality workmanship through out this entire transaction. I'm sure he will get more of my business.

Re: 67-72 Tilt Steering Column Floor Shift
Why would he offer to rebuild your tilt? The customer is NOT always right.
You get what you ASK for. If you wanted it rebuilt you should have ASKED. 1 unsatisfied person does not make the REPUTABLE seller bad. Seems you paid for NOTHING. But still got a usable tilt out of it.
