A couple more. The "Little Red Wagon" was very popular years ago and you guy's that have long term memories may remember it. Still have a car mag or two with articles on this truck.

Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks
Here's a pic and a link to a buddies 1954 GMC 3/4 ton (formerly a long bed), Hillborn injected Caddy 500 powered backed by a tremec 5 speed drag truck. This thing is absolutely nutty to watch tear down the 1320! He is currently working the bugs out, the last track day he pretzel'd the tourqe arm! Here's the link that displays the truck, the site is run by a member of the local car club - The Relics.

Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks
yeah, he's rebuilding during the off season and hoping to be one of the first into the 8s in his class.
He is also building an Altered t-body car. I'd be guessing but I'd say they'll be going for sub 7sec passes in it. Chris Caulkin is co-owner of the truck. I understand he is a pretty well known chassis guy. C-ya |

Old 305. Don't laugh. The old lil 305 could whip a stock 350. I can't wait to put my foot on ZZ4 at the track. http://www.youtube.com/user/SilveradoXST (I could not get the embedded feature to work. Mine's just has a 468, th350 on a 150 shot. the 468 is very mild....stock 781's, air gap intake and a small solid flat tappet cam. Mine has absolutely no suspension work, in fact it is stiff as a board. The tire and the trailing arms help me get out of the hole. I am getting ready to open a gear shop in the area. You are more than welcome to send me a PM and we can meet sometime.

For whoever was asking about Chris Shortridge he is from around the Temple area. He built that truck himself, and has run all kinds of small block combos in it. I dont know if he has a web site or not. |

Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks
just want to know if anyone offers some nice fiberglass fenders for a 67 . I dont want the whole entire hood grill ,fenderswith the flip up kit. I want to get weight off looking for a stock replacement fender. Has anyone dealt with US body source? Are the hoods any good?
Thanks Mark |

Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks
The best one I have of mine. I finally got it on the track. Ran a 13.40 but I forgot to check the throttle adjustment until I got home, I was at less than 3/4 throttle. I'm ready to go again come spring.
