There was a Red/White Coca-Cola version, but it probably was not available to the public, when it was new anyway. It was probably a COPO thing....would that have been a "fleet" listing? or just "special"?
I would think that some of them have gotten into public hands over the years?

I had a 72 blazer that was "dark olive metalic" A few years after I got rid of that a friend got a 70 blazer that listed its paint as "dark olive metalic" both had the original paint but the 70 was more of a pine green(dark) and my 72 was more like grass green(medium)
Also his metalic seamed to be a silver my metalic seamed to be a gold. (maybe that was the differnce?)

Doubt its a rare color but always thought that was weird they listed the same but where totaly differnt colors.

Having the same "name" really means nothing, they were different years. That is very possible, if not common. What about the actual paint code?

I don't think copper was very common. Only one I have seen is the GMC cab we cut up to fix the truck we are restoring.

I think that would have been "special paint".Fleet colors were available to any fleet account (about 5 colors that don`t change from year to year) and special was per order by request.Probably "special price",too.

I know at one time you could order a commercial vehicle with no paint code at all that came in primer for you to paint to suit.A friend has a`60 Sedan Delivery that came primered from factory.He can redo it any color and it will be correct as long as it is era correct.

BTW, If you want the wildest looking factory color (or should I say colour?

) there is, the lime green optional on canadian trucks is it IMO!

I just found this not so rare Grapefruit colored truck I had stored and just feel I need to confess my love of it to the entire world!!!!

You don`t see to many Wheatland Yellers.I`d put it in the not so common category.Less common than grapefruit:

I posted this list a whie back. It was in my truck when I bought it and I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen the Mauve color. I've been looking at these trucks since they were new ( I was 18 in 1967) and have never seen a Mauve one.

Has anyone seen a '67 that came silver poly? I'm wondering if that '67 SWB stepper that is on ebay is the original color. I'm wondering if this GMC is that color.

Ah ha! After a second look, it is the original color! Check out the 523 paint code. That's the first documented silver poly truck I've seen.
