Re: Should I trade it?
The Burb is the keeper. Need a truck, buy or build a trailer. Trailers are cheaper than trucks to register and are covered by the towing vehicles insurance!

I will say this, if you do get the quad-cab you will never get the complements and stares that you would get if you were to keep the burb and fix it up. I'm saying that from the number of "thumbs up" I get everytime I take her out. D

Re: Should I trade it?
Well, after all this days and all your comments (thank you) ,, I have
made up my mind......I will keep her! For some of you who probably thought I was just being silly,,well let me tell you I was not, I was seriously thinking about doing it. When I fist got her I knew I would have to do a lot to get her in my specs, I started pulling a large dent on the tailgate, then I moved to the passanger rocker panel, floor, lower kick panel, front lower support (the usual stuff) and then stopped. I have 3 other projects including my 68 swb wich I have invested over 14k and still need finishing. I've always wanted a 67-72 burb, but I guess I was getting tired of it, now I've realized (with your help) that I should keep going and make this a bad a$$ example of our beloved 67-72's .. I will (if time permits) make a project thread in the future, here are some other pics that I have. Last edited by Puropedo; 10-13-2009 at 02:40 PM. |

Re: Should I trade it?
I think you made the right choice, I love the burb, gee I want one too, thanks alot now I've got another reason to make my wife mad LOL. Actually I've been mentioning getting one for a couple years, just haven't found one in my price range yet(dirt cheap), and she has strong expressed a desire for me not too. I'll probably ignore that again when I find one .

Re: Should I trade it?
It would really be a shame to trade.
Here we say if two trade, then one ends up crying. So be glad you keep it because otherwise you where the one crying.

and I think we will start seeing alot more square body crew cab short beds in the future as this seams to be a currant trend. I personally would like to have both but as 4X4's. |
