Looks good... the IROC too! Not a very common color combo for those.

Re: building a dually the hard way, watcha think so far
Did you install an intercooler with your cummins? Also did you fab your motor mounts or use aftermarket ones?
I really like how your truck turned out, expecially the shot of it with the camaro, reminds me of those truck and trailer toy sets I had when I was a kid.

Very cool truck, it turned out really well. I also love the big shifter in the middle of the floor, awesome.

Re: building a dually the hard way, watcha think so far
i havent put intercooler on yet i put a bigger turbo on it but we started planting beans and corn so i had to get it on the road to pull the tender wagon.... i am soonto install one though.... had to upgrade to all banjo clamps since it kept blowing the tubes off on long grades.... also i made my mount for the engine to accept standard chevy motor mounts and it was pretty simple, that way they are alot stronger and if one fails the engine wont flop over like standard cummins mounts..... the 4x4 shifter is a factory 69 camaro console hurst that i had left over from my old car, i just turned it around and it fit pretty sweet.... all i have left of my 69 camaro......

Very nice! You might try to get some flaps on it so you're camaro doesn't get any new rock chips.

Dude, I love your truck. I'd love to see it in person. I like the other front end better though.

The new style grill looks fantastic. The old single-headlight grill... yuck.

Re: building a dually the hard way, watcha think so far
I do agree with the one headlight not looking the best .I just thank that that grill with the two small lights have been over done all the trucks around here have it. I would have went with the two bigger headlight grill. IMO

Re: building a dually the hard way, watcha think so far
Yep, the '85-'87/'88 dual headlight grills look great when the silver plastic parts are painted body color. I always wanted to update my '88 Burb until I painted the grill black, now I love it.
