Man thats sweet, stinks you have to raise it up so high to turn the wheels. I want to get rid of my Coys and get a set of those Raceline's for my 86 now.

Re: Project "BOWDWN"

Hey guys, thanks for all your comments and responses on my build thread, I just took some time off after I finished my truck and drove the hell out of it. Drove it over a 1000 miles with no problems, I went to Texas showdown in Houston, heatwave in Austin, and borderbash in Mcallen, only a few complaints about the ride, one of which is not havin ac, damn those were some hot a$$ trips and in the middle of summer, Oh well but now I have fixed that problem. I have been working on this ac box and now I am done, man I'm so glad to have it back I took plenty of pictures along the way but I'm only gonna post one for right now, but eventually will post the rest soon hope yall like it!!!

Wow the truck looks great in that picture. Is it the factory red? And what did you use to seal the evaporator box?

Re: Project "BOWDWN"

Looks sick!! I really like the way those wheels look! Good choice! Did you shave those cab lights off or were they just reflectors?

Re: Project "BOWDWN"

Thanks (silvereagle07) that is the factory red, I used strip-calk from napa, then seam sealer all edges then topped it of with rubberized spray undercoating to deaden sound and to keep water out.

(spr85gmc), I did have it CL to see if I would get any offers, but none yet; I am goin keep it for at least another year, or at least till texmex in march, lol. I've taken the front tires off to work on the ac box so I don't plan on goin anywhere till then....

(joe231) Yeah love that tape deck too, the rims are 22" billet raceline, thanks.

(roll_low)thanks man, I haven't shaved the roof yet because I don't wanna do any bodywork to it yet, so I think I'm just goin to put some plugs in or sometin, but they were real working cab light on a SWB...
