Your doing a great job on your build. I know what you mean the build threads are a real inspiration to keep going.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Thanks Strodder. Here are a few shots I took of how the whole thing is looking. I need to strip down the passenger door, the rest of the cab and the hood and it the whole thing will be bare naked.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
I'm building this truck to look stock on the outside(except for the rims) and have all of the modifications be on the inside. The bed floor is going to be raised up a few inches but will still appear stock from the outside. I kept the stake pockets on the bed rails, I didn't shave the door handles and I'm putting all of the trim back on. I notched the frame in the back but don't want to Z it and cut the bed up. 3 or 4 inches off the deck is close enough for me. I love looking at other peoples trucks laying frame though. Thanks for the compliments.

Looks awesome! I love the look of a bare panel after some quality sanding time.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Hey Stroker, are you going to install 8 valves to control your Air Bags? It's a big advantage if you do.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
I don't have anything other than suspension parts and bags. No tank, compressor, valves or controller. I really have been concentrating on everything else. I need to research it more before I make a decision. I have temporary schrader valves on the lines and that should get me through till the rest of the build is done. Why 8 valves? Any other info is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
I used to own Sportruck Specialties. I did many, many custom air bag jobs. Before you buy anything else for the air bags let me know first. I'll steer you straight. Or up & down.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Thanks Strodder. It will be a while but I'll definitely be hitting you up for some more info. What do you think the price range is for a basic independent 4 corner system? I don't really care about the up and down speed. Everyone I've talked to says to get 4 corner adjustability. What do you think?

Prices are always changing with some of the components to make a kit. It can depend on how many compressor's you want, and what size air tank, lines, fittings, and switches. The minimum I would recommend would be 1/4" air lines, with 2 air compressor's, a air 5 gal tank, with 3/8" control valves. I would use brass fittings for reliability, and they will reduce leaking. Roughy I'm guessing you'll spend about $500.00 to $600.00. I'll check the exact price when your ready.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Thanks 502. Here's last nights progress. I worked on the hood mainly, but I got a few other things done too. Basically I was out making a bunch of dust.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Thanks for the info. I might be able to afford to set it up quicker than I thought. Do you have any suggestions for where tanks and compressors should be mounted? Pics? I really haven't thought about where I'm going to put it all.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Here's a few I did. You have lots of options. I'm going to mount my tanks under the cab on the side of the frame.. Keep in touch with my build thread. I'm not ready yet, but will get to it after I get it running.
This one I installed in the rear quarter of a 56 Nomad fender.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
I'm going to have a gas tank in the back between the frame rails so I may have to tuck the tanks in front of the rear tire. Not sure yet. Thanks for the pics

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
I'm putting a Blazer tank in the back also. I checked and there is lots of room under the cab out side of the frame rails. You can put one 3 gal tank with 1 compressor on one side, and the same setup on the other side. It would be a clean set up, and look cool too.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
Do you have the blazer tank yet? If so, where did you get it and how much was it? I'm looking for one right now. Is it 21 gallon? What do you think about those fabbed up 19 gallon aluminum tanks? I know they're more expensive but they seem to tuck up nice between the rails. I don't want the tank to hang down and be visible.

Glad to see it didn't blow up on you. I'll have to take a trip to the salvage yard and see what they have.

Re: Shrunken66Stroker's build thread.
bodyWORK! my arms have never been so sore. 7 hours yesterday and 10 today. I might have to take a day off. I'm about a third done with filler and block sanding. next will be high build primer and more block sanding. more primer and more sanding.
