Re: 67 thru 72 which year has the best front end
we were discussing this on fullsizechevy.com a year or so ago.
its my opinion, that the 67-68's appear to be the most coveted, the 71-72 being the ones that are labled "the most aggressive look". 69-70 are valued, but perhaps not as much as the 67-68s and 71-72s. translated the GMT800 platform (and this is just from a chevy point of view, since thats what i have), me personally, i see a lot of design similarities between the 67-68 and 99-02 trucks. 99-02 has the rounded and sloped hood, and the grillwork is not too far off from being able to identify what tree the silverado fell from. 03 brought in a new front end, that chevy afictiandos appreciate for the fact that its a part of the family tree, but most of the rest of the world wouldnt pick it for the best looking GMT800 silverado. then, for 06-07 came the last version, with the most agressive styling yet for this line. so 30 years from now, which GMT800's will be the most prized? my guess is the first and the 3rd, but not the 2nd iteration, much like what i observe with the 67-72s. /opinion |

Re: 67 thru 72 which year has the best front end
I used to really like '71-'72 grills when I had my '72.
I got my '69 and almost swapped to a '72 grill I have. Glad I didn't, '69-'70 is my new favorite.

I like them all, but I'm kinda partial to the '69 - '70. I want one of every style!

4.5/6 drop, all from Early Classic Ent. with a big block and 700r4. The truck rides smooth, no c-notch, haven't had any problems as of yet.

Re: 67 thru 72 which year has the best front end
The 67 to 72 body style was the most popular Chevy has ever made. You can't go worng with any of them.

DAMN! Now I know why I just had to have that 2007! I totally agree with the above, isn't it funny how they look like the old trucks. I think 67/68 is the coooooooolest!

I think the 67-68 front is the best looking. No plastic grill to break either. But what do I know... I have two lazy eyes.

Re: 67 thru 72 which year has the best front end
I like '72 on a K10/K20, and 67 all clean and low for C10.
Since everyone else is afraid to do it, I'll do it: It is a fact, '67's get the most chicks, so they're officially the best!
