Re: New member new Project
Nice build. I used to go down to Rocky Point a couple times a year when I lived in Phoenix. You are lucky to live there!

My golf course equipment mechanic has gotten dibs on my old static drop, he helped me with a lot of dirty work early on. Couple before and after pics Now I'm shopping for a GM LS2 or LS3 with automatic trans and driveshaft Yes "Frizzle" I love it down here, I've been here four and a half years, built a house close to work and the beach.

But you didn't really miss it, actually you were one of the two guys that steered me in the right direction for the build back in May on another forum. http://c10forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2743

Re: New member new Project
Hooked up the Stage 2 e-LEVEL system by ACCUAIR over the last couple days. It works good, Way more responsive than I expected.
There are many different ways to set one of these systems up, especially when it comes to the height sensors. You just have to figure out what works best for you, and of course sometimes things change.

Re: New member new Project
Thanks Guys
Nate found me a 6 liter LQ9 out of a 2002 Escalade, I'm gonna pick it up next week. Plan to clean up and straighten up the block, and install a lunati stroker rotating assembly and "Voodoo" hot cam kit.

Thanks. I have thought about doing the same to mine, i did not want to do a drastic body drop. Truck looks great can't wait to see the new motor and trans.

Re: New member new Project
dont forget the bumpers will have to drop also, and with the dropmember if you are running a stock 350 with the dropmember you cant get your dist out without unbolting the motor mounts and lowering the motor , so will lowering 3/4 more will your distributor still clear the firewall ??
