Re: phantom grille installed-pics
You know what I changed my mind... I like the other one better. Probably should stick with the phantom.

Re: phantom grille installed-pics
There's a reason why you don't see any of these on a 73-87 truck... the trucks are two different body styles, whereas the 91 SUBURBAN was of the same body style, just different radiator supports and grilles

sweet! your tuck is a model formine, haha, made me change over to the bub font, just love it! i remember when i was a kid (even tho im only 19 lol) i saw a truck with a burb clip at a dealership, i was 10 at the time, but convinced my dad we HAD to have it, well, they sold it by the time we went, and i never could figure out what year it was because of that clip!

Re: phantom grille installed-pics
Looks great in person, there really isn't much that can be done to make these trucks not look good*,86 daul headlight grilles, and the phantom grilles look good too,so my vote is for wingnuts Shane * exceptions (rust, park lights in the bumper, and the square light 80s)

Re: phantom grille installed-pics
My question is when are you going to either put the rest of the molding on, or take the back off?
Truck looks awesome man. I vote for wing nuts too. That way whatever your mood is your set. |

Re: phantom grille installed-pics
I'm not going to bag on you about the trim still there as I understand why you left those pieces. I will poke you in the ribs about the bolts missing from your rear bumper.
Take some of those carriage bolts and wing nuts you had left over from your front end conversion(s) and fill those holes up buddy...

Re: phantom grille installed-pics
big go with the phantom man it looks wayy better than the other ones. if i had a choice i would put a phantom on my 77 if it was possible without replacing the hood and fenders. they look so clean and custom they just add to the truck plus it looks super clean with the coys

Re: phantom grille installed-pics
That looks like the 4th of July show in Elkins. I love the look of your truck with the stock grille. I would love to go that way on one of mine. I know where there is an entire front clip over in Grafton for $600 (could be had for less).
Very nice truck by the way. Brady

Clarksburg man. Damn, I would have loved that for my '81. Any chance its still at the recyclers? i rarely check the classified around here, maybe I should start.
btw, the Elkins car show is always great, and I love the drag racing at the airport they are doing now. Brady

WHAT?!?! Man that's blasphemy. You should never throw anything away. I would have been interested if you weren't too far away.
