Gearing would give me the best gains, but I'm not going to do that until I get a new trans.

I guess I could mount some 23 or 24" slicks on the truck, but I'm not sure I can bear the thought of how goofy it would look. I guess if it worked, the joke would be on everyone else who was laughing at me

I'm not into going the NOS route, but I did have a long talk with Harold (who designed the Lunati cam I was looking at...)

He told me the 401A3LUN would make more power everywhere over the 270H, and pull to 6500 without a problem with the valve springs I have.

So, I ordered it, let the fun begin -- see you in the Spring
