Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Dennis, how much for the chrome trani lever (not the T/C lever)? It just pops right out. I have only seen one other that is original chrome and what kind of shape is that one in? thanks

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Trevor, no new pics yet, but I plan on spending the entire weekend at my shop.
Sakohntr: This was originally an automatic sub, so I'm not sure of the pedigree of the shifter handle, at first glance I was guessing newer 465, but I should compare it to an original shifter to see. Thanks, Sharpie |

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Hey Sharpie, still got that hump? Think the burb one would work in my K5? It looks like what I need to swap in that NP205 case! Seems my dana 20 hump is different than the np205 hump. Let me know, Thank's, Bryan.

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Sharpie, I need the pair of body mount brackets that are riveted to the frame just above the front hanger of the rear leaf springs (I'm converting a truck frame to Burb). It's a bit of work to get these off,....so let me know if you can make it happen.
Thanks, Kevin |

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
I'll take 'em assuming there is no major rust.
Any chance there is a 205 skid plate and crossmember under there too? Also might be interested in the 3rd and 4th door (so to speak) glass division bars. Shape? Price? |

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
3rd door is very solid, One ding in the center and a slight crease in the corner. Door bottom is excellent with no swelling at the seam. 205 crossmember is present, no skid plate. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Hi Dwayne, Someone changed from the clam shell to the barn doors and didn't install the top straps (they were laying in the back) then they let the doors flop open and get dented by the tail lights. A real shame they probably would have been near perfect. At this point they would probably require more body work than they are worth. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Do you still have the upper thin trim that mounts under the window. I need the whole set. In an earlier post someone need one door strip, so even if a piece or to is missing or damaged, please quote price to Cleveland, NC 27013.
Thanks, Mike |

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Hi Mike, still have it. I have some detailed pics if you need them. One small corner piece (drivers rear) is damaged. The rest of the straight pieces are nice. No trim for the rear doors. $200 shipped for the set. Thanks, Sharpie

There's a reason it got changed from clam shell to doors, the entire back 1/4's are pink plastic. Ya win some ya lose some. Sharpie

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Hi Rick, $150 plus shipping. Package would be oversize to ship. Greyhound bus would probably be the best. $65-75 if you have a depot nearby. Thanks, Sharpie
