Re: 67 step to fleet project
[QUOTE=ag1972;4679302]Since the last update I have cut holes in the trailing arm xmember for the exhaust. Drop in the back is from 5in springs and ece shock kit. Front drop is ece spindles and one round cut out.
I love this build thread and have several questions. 1. Where did you buy your sheetmetal from? I heard the brand you bought is of a very good quality and the aftermarket sheetmetal they sell here are crap. 2. What did you use to make those nice circular cuts in the crossmember for the exhaust? I have my truck lowered 4/6 and need to do this to my crossmember but haven't since all I have is a plasma cutter and I want my crossmember to look as nice as yours. |

Re: 67 step to fleet project
Finally got the valve covers thrown on today, painted the tstat housing, and bent some gas lines. Heres some pics of the tags I'm gonna run on it. My great grandpa ran these tags on his truck in 67.

Re: 67 step to fleet project
Nope, haven't had a chance to make any progress. I've been workin two jobs, goin to school and building a new garage. I'll try to get some pics up of the garage tomorrow. Its 24x32 and 12ft ceiling for a lift.

Re: 67 step to fleet project
Well the shop is finally done, and the lift is up. Now I just need to move all the tools in and look for another tool box. I got a blast cabinet too. Now to get back on the truck. I do have the pulleys and alt on now though. I also have my wheels now, 5x5 steels, 6's in the front and 8's in the back.
