Re: Installed a Wideband

Hey Sin and anyone who owns the Innovate piece,
How much of a hassle would it be to swap to another vehicle?
Thanks, huero.

I don't know everything but, what little I know is that a carb can not be tuned without an O2 sensor. You can take the bog out of a carb or tune for power but, you need the O2 to tell you how it is burning fuel.
Glad to hear it is working out for you Sinister.

When I hooked it up in my corvette, I used a square wiring connector, so to remove it all I had to do was unplug the connector, remove the sensor, and install a plug in place of the sensor.

Re: Installed a Wideband

Huero, I don't remember the part number, but it's an Innovate LC-1 with the DB Gauge. List is $229, I got it for about $185 shipped off Fleabay. The DB gauge can come with red or blue LED's. I put the gauge in an Autometer mount, that was about $15 IIRC.
Get one with the gauge or you'll have to hookup a laptop to see your AFR.

Thanks Sin.
Any chance you can put up a video of that gauge with the engine running to see it reading?

I'll see what I can do. Gotta get a hold of a video camera.

Re: Installed a Wideband

One at night. The LC-1 is pretty cool cause you can expand it with other Innovate boxes to log RPM, TPS, MAP, Boost, exhaust temp etc. You'll need a USB to serial adapter to program the refresh rate on the LC-1 and to log AFR.
Either get the one Innovate sells or here's one I got that works:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812107108
It's picky about serial adapters.
