Your truck should be featured in a magazine. WOW!!!!!!
Whatever happened to your 70 GMC you had in highschool? What size of lift and tires are you running on current truck?

Someday my skills might be half as good as yours.
Thanks for the kind words, but I have to I could not have done this alone. I have some friends with some great skills also. As far as the 70 GMC I sold it to start an old International Scout project I did just before my current project. On my current truck there is a 8" lift and im running 37" tires.

My bad! I meant 78, My K5 is a 72, my Scout II was a 78, We have to give IH some props on a few points, Biggest one for me is the body line transition from door to bed, and i did like my steel top, Either way you have one beautiful Scout II

The Scout only took about 2 years, before I had kids and didnt have much to do. Now life always seem to get in the way of the projects, but im sure you guys know how that goes.

Re: project "WILD THING"

Just came across this thread, WOW! what a great looking truck. Awesome job on the fab work, graphics/colors and stance. As an earlier post mentioned, we should see this truck in the mags later. Looking forward to seeing the interior setup.

Re: project "WILD THING"

I like the truck, but did you move the bed up and the cab back? because it looks like the front wheels are pushed up a lot and the back forward a lot.

And I love the paint, but the rear windows throw the look off a little but still looks great.

Re: project "WILD THING"

The running gear is just a longbed frame nothing has been moved. The cab has been mounted on the factory mounts. The bed is a short bed with about 6" sectioned out of the front half, then wheel wells centered above rear tire. The cab was extended around 18".

Re: project "WILD THING"

Every build I see on here makes me say WOW every time, it's amazing how much talent there is working 'round the country on their own pride and joy! The body work is amazing, and to have that much creativity makes me wish there was more time to practice body work! Truly a work of art you've created and it looks as if it were a factory option!

Re: project "WILD THING"

Well got all moved into the new house and it is now time to get back on the project. Started unboxing parts and getting ready to get this thing done. It will be nice to finally have a garage that i can leave things out and not keep putting it away so the wife can park in the garage.
