Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Thanks guys I really appreciate it!!
I've matched the right side of the undercab with the left since those pictures and I might be able to do some sandblasting today. Thanks a lot! I used 1 coat of Rustoleum Professional Primer followed by 2 coats Rustoleum Pro High Performance Semi-gloss black. Quote:
Thank you! Yea it's really nice to be able to pull stuff out all year round. Last edited by David67; 10-12-2010 at 06:42 PM. |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Alright well just about all the floor rust repair is complete and the entire underside has been blasted/brushed. I'll be priming and undercoating this week and then I'll get the cab back on the chassis for further work. It's gonna start to look like a truck real soon.

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Alright guys sorry for the lack of updates. The cab has been primed and undercoated and placed back on the chassis...finally! I'm going to have the eng/trans in next so work has begun on that.

I really considered it but they had primed over some of it and the front right fender is completely smashed in so I'm gonna paint it. I've told myself that if(hopefully when) i do another project it'll be a slammed rat rod |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Also, I found about 3 hairline cracks in one of the cylinders in the 6...A guy we know at the shop close by had a 350 out of a '93 1500 with only 60k miles. The truck had been in a wreck a while back and thats why the mileage was so low. I went ahead and got that engine and I'll post pics later on

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
I heard the official start of Niftee 50ees was April 2rd. Kinda scared to take mine because of the parking issues, should be about 625 cars out there if the weather is nice.
