Re: Here we go again.....new project
What an AMAZING cab!!! Now we know what they looked like before paint on the assembly line. just simply incredible. I'd pay 2500 for something like that if I was building a show truck!

Re: Here we go again.....new project
those people....must not know how much it cost to repair rust issues !! i put rockers, rocker backer plates, cab corners, cab mounts, lower kick panel patches, i know i have well over $1500 bucks in that , and i have a patched cab !! would love to have started with a perfect cab !! and by the way i thought my cab was in VERY GOOD condition, compared to most

Awesome project! I'm subscribing too.
About that cab, I bet you would have VERY hard time finding one that nice anywhere......including California. |

Re: Here we go again.....new project
I spent today running around with Jeff.
So while I was up at his shop,... I snapped some more "spy photos" of his Project '68 stepside that he is building. The "Gumby" green factory '68 paint color is very NICE! This is all I have,...

Re: Here we go again.....new project
Awesome progress Jeff.... but it looks like the '68 is in a new home. Curious where the previous resident was relocated too.

Didn't figure you had sold her quite yet... haven't had her out enough just yet.
Truly awesome work Jeff!

Re: Here we go again.....new project
MORE SPY PHOTOS:
I made a trip up to see Jeff and attend his annual Xmas party at his shop. I manage to see some progress on Jeff's '68 stepside. The interior is going together. The dash is completely assembled now. Jeff added a factory tach and tilt column to this build. Carpet and reupholstered seat are in also. (I feel like a slacker looking at his progress)

Re: Here we go again.....new project
I'd give a $1000 for a cab that good, beautiful truck man. Was it originally a radio delete, and what are you going to do for a radio.
