My '67 shortbed is being built from bit's & pieces from my parts stash. Here is the rolling frame I bought from Hartrob in Florida and the hood from New Hampshire:

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them
Here's how she looked when I found her out in a field she'd been sitting in for 6years. Bought her on the spot for $1000.00
Here's how she looks now.....yeah, I know- I need to get off my duff and put it back together, but 70 hour work weeks don't leave much time or energy!

Hanging out half-built. Passed on to me by a friend who finished the frame and then got busy elsewhere.

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them
Here is my 67 that had been sitting for 8 years outside a barn in Virginia. It has not changed much since then except for a bright purple bed that I found locally for cheap. Total so far for truck and bed is $350. I will eventually get around to it when the 72 is done.

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them
no pictures of it sitting in the field but here it is right after i brought it home. it's down to a bare cab waiting for me to get my mig welder bought and start patching. Owner ran it out of oil back in 78/79 and parked it in his row of crap. he's also got a 1947 indian military bike with side car in his barn

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them
My truck sat in this warehouse just like this for 3 years before i picked it up. It was the only thing in this place except for some odds and ends sitting around the edge of the room.
