Re: consoles
Has anyone heard from Donald lately? I've tried PM'ing him several times and haven't heard back.

Re: consoles
I am checking with a few people who have dealt with him before to see if they get a hold of him.

Re: consoles
You will need to keep track in that thread, as all of his parts board access has been removed pending issues being resolved

Be sure to read this whole thread and the reviews...the seller cannot sell any more parts right now because several parts deals right now have people who have paid but haven't received their parts.

Re: consoles
I've called him several times in the past few weeks about a deal off this site. I can't get him either. I hope everything is OK with him.

Re: consoles
Hard to believe someone can just fall off the planet like this. Even if he had met with bad luck, someone would know about it.

Re: consoles
I agree, even the guys (a few on this board) that deal with him on a normal/local type basis aren't sayin nothing here. Could Donald be on a cross country truck/parts run, we all know those can chew up some time? Mel

Re: consoles
ATTN: I TALKED TO DONALD TONIGHT! I was getting worried since no one (myself included) has heard from him so I made some calls to his hometown today and finally got him. He had an unexpected family / legal issue come up and he had to go out of state. It was only supposed to take a day or two, but wound up lasting nearly 3 weeks. He was away and involved so long that his cable/phone got cut off while he was out of town. He wanted me to pass on to everyone that he has ALL packages ready to go and they will ship out tomorrow. He said he will go to the library or somewhere with internet access tomorrow and send out tracking numbers to everyone. He wanted me to apologize to everyone for the inconvenience. I'm just glad to hear he is OK!
Joshua

Re: consoles
I figured something odd was up - it just seemed so out of character from what I thought I knew about him.
Thanks for the info.

....but there's no excuse for the lack of communication /miscommunication you posted about at the beginning of the bad deals thread.... And...people have been calling for weeks to all his known numbers.... And...nearly every hotel in america and all libraries have internet access...I've used them many times to check on things and print out emails. That's assuming the place he stayed for the three weeks didn't have internet. He could have easily replied AT LEAST ONCE. He had several deals going and people who had paid waiting for their parts. He should have had the common courtesy to post a simple message on here to let people know there would be a delay AT THE BARE MINIMUM. I am FAR from perfect and just this week had to refund someone because I forgot to ship their item in a timely manner... But simple communication goes a long way to make buyers more comfortable....and in this day and age....there is NO excuse for three weeks with no communication (while people are awaiting product they paid for weeks before). And it's not like we've even heard from him yet...JQ-72 had to track him down and relay a message.... I remembered a dealing he had a while back and looked up a quote from him...it says it all...
