Re: my rhd ls1 build

Really cool truck! I've pondered making a RHD out of mine for about 5 minutes some time in the past but didn't have the motivation to really put out the effort. How is the steering hooked up on it? What kind of steering sector was used to work from the right side? Subscribed

Cheap fuel cell/tank....

mid to late 80's efi blazer tank under the bed. Add the appropriate in-tank pump with a corvette regulator/return.

Unhappy Re: my rhd ls1 build

No... not at this time... I just just recently had to move...so had to move it all to my new house .. haven't had time to work on it with all the new house projects.. I just bought an ls6 block that I will rebuild and put in when its running ... and I have also made up my mind and I'm gonna just take my time and do a frame off build then throwing it to get just to have a truck to drive... hoping on may 2012.....

Believe it or not boog, you won't believe how fast you adapt and how much more natural it feels to steer with the right and shift with the left (well if your right handed anyways). When I moved back from living in Japan almost 10 years, it felt more awkward switchng back to the USA way.

Re: my rhd ls1 build

It was a little awkward driving it home ... ppl where doing double takes... when I was test driving it I was driving in two lanes at first .. normally ur on the left side of the lane. But now I'm on the right but I was still in left side of the lane.. It only takes a few min and turns to adapt ... my dad is a mailman ... he switches back Ever day.. he was one reason I wanted...

I don't think I could drive that, I'd be freaking out if anyone was standing on the shoulder or something afraid of hitting them LOL

Re: my rhd ls1 build

I switch back and forward between my RHD Blazer, the wifes rhd Nissan and my LHD truck with no problems and to make things even more confusing we often go over to France in the Nissan where they drive on the same side as you guys!
