Thanks wicky, It took longer than I planned once I started to sand them and make it smooth, but it was worth it in the end!

No updates, spen most of the day just cleaning out the garage so I can try to see the floor again, cant stand to work in a messy shop,!! Weather was great this weekend!

Holy balls you cut some rust outta that cab. Better and more motivated man then me.. i would have just tossed it and got another. Frame looks amazing.

Yea, it was WAY more work than I planned! It really slowed the project down, but ogh well live and learn..

Nice project! Have to hand it to you on the rust repair. That was impressive to say the least. I'm gonna subscribe too.

Got the bed ready for more primer for more sanding and sanding, a bunch or work and ya cant see any changes..LOL just tired hands and dust every where. I had to replace the pax bedside with a aftermarket piece, it was just too beat up after I started to remove the various paint colors. Its starting to look pretty good.

What did I have to lose..LOL I just started to cut and weld in new pieces, one at a time. But it was a bunch of time to make it right. My original plan was to use all the orginal sheetmetal on the truck...

What was i thinking..

Found some pics of the bed before taking it down to metal...it was not good, not good!! It had 1/2" of bondo on the entire pax side, it was crazy! Driver side was in good condition.

I have to get this thing updated, got some progress, bunch of media blasting, small parts painted, big brown truck has dropped several packages with new parts and such. I gotta get some pics on here, last post was 4 months ago...wth! I actually have some color on it now..

I am using BC/CC. I am using shopline base and Deltron clear. It seems to cover well, from what I can tell so far. The deltron clear sprays & flows out nice.
