Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
Cool project, and you do some nice work! I really like the silver and black contrast on the chassis. That is the same colors that I want to do my frame.
How did that SEM Copperweld work out for you? I used some on my cab repairs and it thoroughly pissed me off. Had to beat the can for a day and half to get it to spray, then it spits and sputters and clogs constantly. Yeah I shook it up for hours too. I used up all the extra tips in my spray paint collection and finally trashed it. When I did use it that stuff acted like some kind of contamination and pitted my welds. Maybe I got a bad/old can?? Keep the pics comin' I'll be watchin. Later

I saw your truck at the syracuse nationals. It's looking good and you got it together pretty quick too.

Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
not alot of progress these last few weeks. been triing to figure out what to do. heres what i am thinking;
my plan is to raise the floor up 6-7 inches with the stock tubs touching the bottom of the rail. i am planing on a wood floor for it(one i will make myself). i ordered some 1" sq tubing(picking up tomorrow) for the frame work. when i get the frame done then i will start doing the body work. setting it up now for the future(air bag with the option to lay frame there if i want to/can afford to). i figured i needed to make a cover for my tank(and wanting to bag it eventually) so i might as well do the floor to clear both.
