Well the fit test of the SWB bed was a success now time to do the body work on it and send it the paint booth.
I think I will need to lower the rear so I can even the truck out. |

Here is some updates on the SWB bed. Doing the body work and getting it ready for the paint booth. I also got the new fuel tank that will be installed on the frame where the spare tire once was. Those pictures to follow once it gets installed.

Here is some more updates put a 21 gallon fuel tank at the back of the frame, electric fuel pump, and lowered the truck 2" in the front and 4" in the rear. The bed is going on tomorrow and off to the paint booth.
Also put a roll on bedliner in the bed too. |

They also got the dragstrip back open in Memphis can't wait to run it again. The last time I ran her she posted a 13.5 in the 1/4 mile. Hopefully I can get down in the low 13's with all the weight I removed. Fingers Crossed

Well got the new driveshaft installed on Thursday so the truck moves again. Just have a little more body work to do on the bed then off to the paint booth.

Looking good! Maybe it's just me, but the bed looks like it's kinda tilting back too much, just a hair. Not trying to be critical, maybe I'm seeing things. Great job!
