Re: My new 1950.
I had been waiting 3 months to get it. I went up there on a Wednesday and the PO said that there was a guy coming that Friday from KS with a trailer to pick it up. I would have been pissed if I lost this one. Thanks for all the compliments. I have already gotten " what color are you going to paint it" twice this morning before 10am

Re: My new 1950.
Just got the 3" whities mounted yesterday. The caps and trim rings should be in today. It's going to drop is down another 3/4" of an inch bringing me to 3" off the ground.

Re: My new 1950.
What size Tires do you have on the boss Rims? I know you have 20 on the back and 18's on the from, this is what I want to do as well? I like the way the tires fit under the back fenders...

Re: My new 1950.
Now that what I'm talkin' about !
Classic truck Classic wheels and tires. I really think that the AD can support up to 17" wheels max ! Anything larger takes away from the truck and puts it on the wheels and begins to look clownish. Here's the wheel combo going on my '57 TF. Same wheels as yours, ignore the frame in the foreground or not. Last edited by G&R's57GMC; 05-12-2012 at 09:19 PM. |

Thanks you too Luis. I wrote you on the HAMB. Great meeting local guys. It will look better on the ground. Love your apache. One of the nicest trucks Chevy made on my opinion.

Re: My new 1950.
Love the air cleaner, I have that exact one, but its still on my stock 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
Also, the bottlecap rims look WAY better on your style of truck than the 5-spoke hot-rod rims Looks Great!!!
