Strange . . . did you sell it locally and not on the board??
I don't remember anyone inquiring about it on here.

Your correct no one else has inquired about it on here.
I sold the entire motor and transmission for 600 bucks prior to having permission to list on here at all and when I did finally list the truck on here I failed to mention that the Motor and Transmission were already sold. I apologized for that previously and I apologize to you again now. I am sorry. I did not mean to waste anyones time.

the rear brake drums were removed this afternoon they have a lot of life left in them after seeing them and the front rotors I am starting to believe the PO that the 58 thousand miles were original.

They weigh 53 lbs and I am guessing the shipping to co will be 30 bucks each but I dont have your zip so I am not sure.

I offered them to you at 25 bucks each. Please let me know if you want them.

Sorry I am new to this so I dont know how much shipping will run but I will get you the best deal I can and will pack the shipping label with the parts.

Thanks

Re: Partial part of 1971 GMC 1 TON 2WD Cab and Chassie

I would be interested in the roters at 25 apiece Depending on the shipping and of course if they have enough meat left on them to be cut some more. I could calculate the shipping if I had some idea what they weigh. I understand you need to wait and I don't blame you. I wish you were a few thousand miles closer Id buy it myself. I'm in no rush so take as much time as you need and weigh all your options.

old Chevy guy, Thanks for your patience thus far ;-) The front rotors have been pulled the truck odomoter has 58 thousand miles on it. the PO claimed those were original miles and after seeing these rotors and the rear drums I believe her now (her husband had long since passed.) I am happy to send you a close up of them if you would like. Hell I will even mic them.

Thats the good news.... these bad boys weigh in at 48 pounds each and shipped to you is $53 each via UPS Ground. If you have a cheaper option I am open to it.

Via this method your total would be $156. I have no idea what these things cost new so I await your comments.

I was fearing as much,Let me make a few calls around to diffrent parts stores, probably won't have time till tomorrow but if their as good as you say I'm thinking that it still may be viable. If you can even get them I'm sure new wont be cheap. I will let you know asap. Thanks! Frank

So far the only and best new price Ive found is $166 apiece. So used shipped still looks better. Not that I doubt your description at all but if it's not too much trouble could I get a few up close pictures before we close the deal? I'm looking into alternate shipping also, any bus stations near you? Ive been thinking about finding some roters to put the bud wheels on the front of my truck for years but wasn't actually ready to pull the trigger yet. I just don't want to miss a good deal. who knows when or if it might come up again. even the single wheel rotor thats stock on there now is $116 new. I'm not sure what parts will interchange directly but worst case I have a complete disk brake set up from a 72 3500 (less the roters) if the spindals and such prove to be diffrent.I sold the roters about 18 years ago to a guy I worked for at the time.
