Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
should be simple to just use the inner gubbins of a portapotty in a build to fit little room with a sewage hookup and a little fan in the roof, doing it that way its totaly watertight no need for tiles and stuff you could clean it with a presurewasher and it shouldnt stink

Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
G&R you have done a great job with your garages as well as blending them in with your your home. Hope you enjoy it for years to come. We see a lot of talent on these pages as far as building trucks, but your talent goes beyond metal. Your neighbors must be happy.

I also added a second garage (24'x24') to or 1st rental house and designed the landscaping too. I incorporated the storage shelf on three sides and cathedral ceiling , cable, ceiling fans, RV outlet and breezeway. Our Tenant loves it. |

Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
I have a single 16 foot X 7 foot door going on the front with a 36" entry on front as well. The sides are only 5.5 ft off the property line each side. I plan to leave 8 feet behind the garage to add a Compressor out house. All structures have to be 3 ft from property lines.

Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
I have a 40x60 shop, with a 20x40 carport for the MH. I like the size of the shop it keeps me from draging lots of projects home, one section for the shop is 20x40 with 14 foot ceiling and a hoist, the other side is 40x40 with 10 foot ceilings. I have a 3 bay garage on the house which keeps the daily drivers and mowers out of the shop. Works for me.

Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
Lots of good ideas and advice here. I built a 36'x48' pole this last Fall. I can't wait to get power and complete the inside this Spring. I planned for and am definitley installing a lift and will have plenty of lighting as well as 115v and 220v outlets for all the tools. I'm already thinking it's too small!

Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
wow you seem to be pretty close to the neighbours homes , if this was the netherlands they prolly wouldnt give planningpermission due to loss of sunlight to the neighboring homes destroying their view and stuff like that

Re: Building a garage - any suggestions?
Looks like a LOT of dirt work to me,
is that something you will do, or someone else do the AB work?
